Christophe’s Randonneuse

Christophe wanted his bike to be as blue as the mediterranean sea on a sunny summer day. A classic French Randonneur equipped with fine and durable components and able to carry light luggage for trips that can take a bit longer.

The frame is made from light and comfortable Columbus Zona tubes, the fork from Columbus SL blades. To add a little something we threw in a bilaminated XCR head tube and a pair of polished stainless top eyes. The little rear cable hanger is also made in-house with lots of love.

Wheels built by Matthias: Pacenti Brevet rims on a SON dynamo hub in the front and Hope in the rear. Perfect Rene Herse Loup Loup Pass 650x38b tires.

1x transmission based on Sram Rival, upgraded with a Spécialité TA Carmina crankset and bottom bracket.

Beautiful Components by Gilles Berthoud: Aspin saddle and leather bar tape, stainless fenders. SON lights, Ritchey Classic components and Paul touring cantilever brakes to complete the build.

The paint job was done by our friends from M-Level. Now all that is missing is going to the Mediterranean Sea and comparing the colors.
