Cristina’s Long Distance Road Bike

Cristina is aiming big in 2025: London Edinburgh London ! And for the occasion a new bike to ride it in style. The frame is made from light Columbus Life tubes with a beautiful paint job excellently done by M-Level according to Cristina’s vision.

She decided to go for Campagnolo’s 13-speed Ekar group to have the widest gear range available for a 1x groupset (38 - 10/44). The wheels were assembled again by Patrick from FNX Wheels: Velocity Aileron polished 700c rims, a SON 28 dynamo hub, the light White Industries CLD rear hub, fast rolling Rene Herse Stampede Pass 32 mm tires.

Not taking the risk of running out of juice on those long distances, the bike is equipped with the Forumslader. The lights are coming from SON in the front and the subtle Busch & Müller my: in the rear.

The fenders are the beautiful and light Honjo H30. The finishing kit is the Classic product range from Ritchey. A brooks Cambium C17, lovely Velo Orange Moderniste bottle cages, Grepp washable bar tape and Shimano EH500 pedals finish off the build.

Good luck for LEL and all other long distance adventures the future will bring!
