Gunar’s Long Distance Bike
The frame of Gunar’s long distance rig is made from Coumbus Max tubes and I added a unicrown fork made from Columbus disc brake fork blades.
The wheels are size 650x48b with Velocity Aileron rims, SON and Hope hubs, Rene Herse Switchbackhill extra-light tires. The dynamo hub powers a Forumslader charger and lights. The transmission is a GRX 2x11 Di2 and the finishing kit is Ritchey WCS.
The Honjo Fenders are painted satin black by M-Level who also did a great job on frame and fork with few custom symbols integrated on the frame
Gunar brought his own pedals and Berthoud saddle. I built the adjustable luggage rack, which can be transformed from small randonneur rack to a larger pizza rack. Jean-Michel from TIM TAS made the custom bags based on precise customer requirements regarding fit and color. The front bag is decaleur-free held tight to the rack base with strong elastic straps.
