Oriane’s randonneuse

It’s nice to show some unpainted steel for a change. This is Oriane’s little randonneur. The frame is made from Columbus Life and Spirit tubes in the front with an XCR rear and XCR head tube insert.

The classic French look is owed to Gilles Berthoud saddle, bar tape and fenders. The wheels were laced by Matthias (Velocity Aileron 650b rims for a bit of bling and Hope Pro4 hubs) and completed with plush Rene Herse 38mm tires.

What else is on the bike: Sram Rival 2x11 transmission with a Velo Orange Grand Cru crankset to stay on theme, Juin Tech R1 hybrid disc brakes, Ritchey Classic components and a full set of bags by TimTas to offer plenty of storage space for long tours.
