Pascal’s Racer
Swedish scientists have proven that red bikes just go faster. The paint job will give Pascal an extra 2km/h on all his future rides.
Little complexity on this bike was to work out a clean looking 1x Shimano set up. Thanks to Spécialité TA, the Woolftooth Roadlink and the new Ultegra RX derailleur it fell into place very well for a 42 x 11/40 transmission.
Matthias built a pair of light kick-ass wheels with Duke Baccara carbon rims, Sapim CX Ray spokes and Hope RS4 hubs. René Herse Chinook Pass extra-light tires for a plush ride.
The frame is a blend of Columbus Spirit and Life tubes with a Columbus Futura Caliper SL carbon fork.
