Sandrine’s modern 26” randonneuse

Bike number 3 leaving the shop in 2023 is a light modern randonneur bike with all the bells and whistles, well proportioned with 26” wheels to fit a smaller sized rider. It is a gift from Stéphane to Sandrine that comes from the heart, hence the little decoration on the seat tube.

The frame is made from Columbus Zona tubes, fork blades are Reynolds for disc, with cables running internally. The bike is equipped with lights from SON in the front and Supernova in the rear as well as a charger (Forumslader), a Sram Rival 1x transmission, hand-laced wheels by Matiq with Velocity Aileron rims, Hope rear and SON dynamo hub, Rene Herse Naches Pass tires. Mudguards are Honjos. The pedals are from MKS. The finishing kit is Ritchey classic with a Nitto RM-3 handlebar for a bit of extra flare. Saddle, bar tape and rear view mirror are made in France by Berthoud. Made in France we also have the crank set from Spécialité T.A. who didn’t anodize the chainring for me to match the rest of the shiny parts.
