The Transcontinental Race No. 4
The 4th edition of the Transcontinental Race leaves on July 29, 2016 from Geraardsbergen in Belgium heading for Çanakkale, Turkey. Riders are on their own and have to pass 4 mandatory checkpoints on their way.
With 250 to 300km of riding per day, this bike is designed for maximum comfort without making any compromise to performance: extra-light and supple 38mm Compass Loup Loup Pass tires, 650B Velocity A23 rims, Sram Force CX1 transmission (eliminating the front derailleur and thereby one potential source of problems), the comfortable Brooks Cambium C15, the Velogical mini-power plant, bags and low-rider racks made-to-measure by TIM TAS + REK.
