TCR No. 4 Evolution

My beloved TCR No. 4 bike had a very unfortunate meeting with a 20 ton truck which the fork didn’t survive. An opportunity to do a few upgrades. The attachement of the Velogical 3-phase generator is now on the drive-side fork blade which makes it easier to reach and engage the dynamo while riding. The luggage system was also upgraded to the lighter version we developed with Tim Tas & Rek for the Concours de Machines 2018.

I replaced the light SKS mudguards for the more robust stainless Gilles Berthoud model. The lights are now SON in the front and rear, connected to the charger Forumslader which is integrated in the head tube. The aero bars are now a bit lighter without the foldable arm rests (which became a little too noisy over time).

Other than that it’s pretty much the same bike. Transmission, brakes and wheels are working well. No need for adjustment here. Perhaps one day it will go on another TCR adventure.
