Last year, Héloïse came to my workshop for the 5-day frame building course. As with all course participants, the planning and design took place a few weeks before the course so we could really concentrate on the construction of the frame and fork, learning the techniques involved in the process during the 5 days in the workshop.
Héloïse wanted to create a “mini-bike” for her day-to-day commuting. Based on her personal measures and after discussing the details regarding transmission, brakes, and other components we created a plan in bikecad (bikecad.ca - a dedicated frame building cad software) that would be the base for our work during the course.
During the course, Carine from Créa Lens documented Héloïse’s experience. The result is this beautiful little video which will hopefully inspire you to create your own bike one day, which will be more than just a bike.
Most course participants have never held a brazing torch before. During the course, you will learn how to assemble tubes by fillet brazing.
The course is held individually or in groups of 2 participants. This way we can guarantee to dedicate the maximum attention to all participants.
